It's Golden Time

Another day, another release.
Or rather, another month, another release. Kindof…
Anyway, it’s here. Golden Time’s dub finally came out a few months ago and since then I’ve been working on this new release. I’m at a point where I’ll no longer release something without making inprovements. Or in other words, no more quick muxes. That’s a good thing, except for when it comes to time. If I ever do release a quick mux at some point again, it won’t be under my main tag. So the majority of my time went to fixing the tsing on all the episodes. It also took some time to sync the english audio.
In other news, I recently released my first encode. A huge thanks to Scyrous for helping me learn the basics and improving my encode script. What show did I encode you ask? Well, a cartoon, Danny Phantom. Why? I picked up the DVD’s and there was no good encodes. I’ve been interested in encoding for awhile now, but there’s a lot to it. We’ll see if I get around to doing some more encoding or not. You won’t find a page for it here, but it’s posted over on nandato if you’re interested.
That’s it for now. I’ll see you in a few months, hopefully.
Another Long Awaited Release

“It’s about time”
-Everyone Ever
It’s finally here; The Natsume Yuujinchou movie. It’s been added to the Natsume page.
You’re probably wondering what took so long. Well tsing was the primary issue I faced. The chalkboard in the first minute of the video was a tough one. I had to get some help with that. Thanks to shamil11, it looks as good as possible. The chalkboard isn’t quite drawn correctly so having the sign look good in that position was very difficult. There was also the Nanatsujiya sign that had tough angle due to the bag being bent.
After all of that, I thought I was done. I was in the process of uploading the movie. But then I noticed the title sign causing some lag. It’s not something I noticed while editing, but after doing a quick QC, it was really noticable. This thing would probably fry those operating on toasters. So I stopped the upload and got back to work. It turns out the gradient was too small (the smaller a gradient is the better it looks). I had it at the smallest possible, and after upping it some it still looks really good and doesn’t lag. And in turn, the number of lines lessened quite a bit.
Now, it’s not as if I spent all this time doing nothing while those delays occoured. I’ve been working on a couple other projects. One being something new (cartoon related too!). Another being the next project to be released.
I probably won’t make another post for awhile so uh, happy holidays.
The Long Awaited Release

It’s finally here folks. That release I mentioned back in June that would be done soon-ish. Kimi to Boku 2 (season 2) can be found added on to the original release page.
There’s several reasons for the delays, but the most important one (if that’s how you wanna see it) was learning how to use a bunch of scripts/plugins for aegisub. Most of these scripts are made by UA (unanimated) and have tons of different features. He’s got his own github site that’s full of (really hard) to read information. But don’t let that stop you, it really has some useful stuff. Check it out if you’re in the anime game. Of course the other reasons were the simple lack of motivation, and this game called Satisfactory got me hooked. But enough of that, what’s next?
If you look at my trello board, you’ll see the Natsume Yuujinchou Movie. It’s finally happening folks! I’ve already started working on it, so expect it soon-ish. Okay maybe not that long since it’s just a movie. But I make no promises and won’t give any kind of estimation (at least not until I’m nearing completion).
So yeah, see ya in a few months :)
Site Updates

Long time no see. I’ve gone through and fixed up some things. Most noticeably, I made a lazy dark theme. It’s not perfect but I think it looks better this way. Additionally, I’ve added a couple more links. There’s Nanadato, which is where I make all my posts. You can expect to see more resources to obtain stuff there. And then there’s trello, which will keep track of all my progress. This board will show all projects and their status, along with future projects (that I’ll probably never get to).
Also, expect a release soon-ish. I’m finally back to working on anime again (but who knows how long that will last). As I mentioned above, you can track my progress on trello.
That’s about it. Happy Summer :)
